European Cultural Archive and other databases

        IASEC will set up a European Cultural Archive (Archive de la culture européenne; Archiv der europäischen Kultur) through procurement and exchange and other basic approaches of collecting basic literature, information and important documents about European culture. The archive will exist in the print and digital forms, and will turn out the most important database for European studies in China and East Asia. For this purpose, IASEC will develop close partnerships with University of Manchester, St. Petersburg State University, University of Leuven, University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris, University of Heidelberg, Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg and University of Rome.

        IASEC will also compile and publish collections of academic works on European culture, in addition to the European Cultural Archive and other large databases, which will include books and journals in Chinese and foreign languages by famous authors with strong international influence. IASEC will therefore build up an archive and information center for European cultural studies in China.
